How we keep your data safe and your store separate from everyone else's.

How we connect

The app connects through BigCommerce's own secure sign-in. The key that lets us reach your store is scrambled before we store it, and it is never shown in your browser.

Your data stays yours

Each store's backups live in their own private space. Your data is never mixed with, or visible to, any other merchant. Ever.

When you uninstall

Uninstall the app and we switch your store off and remove its backups. Billing stops at the same moment - nothing lingers.

Orders are handled with care

We back up your orders with their line items and addresses, and we never change an existing order. If you delete one and want it back, you can restore it on request - we recreate it as a new order (it gets a new number, and the customer is not re-charged).

Where your backups live

Backups are kept on trusted cloud storage (Cloudflare R2). The contents are encrypted, and identical files are stored only once to keep things lean.
